Introduction

The Incarnate Word Foundation is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio. The foundation's primary mission is to support the overall health of the community, in part by serving as a resource to organizations that improve the lives of those in need, particularly women, children, and the elderly.

In addition to its grantmaking activities, the foundation fosters collaboration through its roundtable program. This program brings together individuals from the civic, not-for-profit, governmental, business, and faith communities to discuss how collaboration can improve the health and well-being of the community.

This report outlines key points from five roundtable discussions that addressed the following topics:
